Playing with Aquarell

I discovered a set of Aquarell pencils in my crafts drawer. How fun! Aquarell pencils can be used to draw then you can apply water onto the color with a brush to get a watercolor effect.

I wanted to experiment so I drew this and only watered some parts of it. I only applied water to the ladybug's body, the yellow background and the shading underneath the pot. You can see the smoothness of the watered parts as opposed to the "sketchy" parts of the non-watered parts

Here's a close-up of the lady bug body, in comparison with the blue petals of the flower.
