Split-complementary colors

Use a photograph of an animal and select a background. Use split complementary colors to paint. Do not mix paint colors.

I used a picture of a capuchin monkey that I took in Central America. The monkey, bark and some leaves are with tints, shades, and tones of red-orange. The foliage is tints, shades, and tones of blue and green.
